Until the early 1990's, Independent Financial Advisers and General Commercial Insurance Brokers practiced together as single offices, with the advantage of multi disciplines all under one roof, which was a great benefit to Clients. With the advent of the FSA & its predecessors, different regulations were imposed on each branch so that brokers tended to hive off and become independent businesses.

Both Companies were founded in 2003, after the FSA was founded. The directors and staff of both companies had previously worked together for a national broker, which then set up its own operations, which ultimately became JMF Financial Services and Noyce Insurance Solutions. Thus, having increasingly worked together informally for the benefit of clients since 2003, the idea of a more formal arrangement was already in the DNA of each company and is a natural progression, which both Joe Freire and Tom Noyce are very pleased to launch.
